How did I end up with a snake in my underwear ?
I was in Egypt for a week to see the pyramids, enjoy some sunny weather and discover some local culture. I discovered even more than I bargained for. Let me give you some context.
I was at a show called “1001 Nights” where I went to see a cultural show, followed by some belly dancing, some other Egyptian dancing and a show with hypnotized snakes. According to the description it was gearing up to be a great night.

Airbnb: Where do you stay when you travel?
I first discovered Airbnb about 2 years ago, when I was browsing the App Store. At first, it looked like a very nice app to look at for some crazy places to stay, but then I started learning more about it and signed up. My account says I signed up in October 2012, fully intending to use it but, life got in the way.
I finally have a chance to use it now on my upcoming trip to New York.

Visit Romania through the eyes of a tourist
I’ve discovered a fantastic video made, made by a tourist who visited Romania last year, and I would like to share it with you. Not only is the video well made, but I believe that he managed to do a much better job than the “Visit Romania” campaign, which our Ministry of Tourism put together in the recent years.

Titanic experience
Last weekend, I finally decided to take the trip to Belfast and see where the Titanic was built. Of course, I arrived there a bit late and couldn’t see the actual dry dock, but I did get to go inside the building where they have all these pictures and stories.
