My SteelSeries Siberia V2 Headphones

I pulled the trigger, on the SteelSeries Siberia V2 headphones, after both my Logitech G330‘s and my FutureSoundLab Zero headphones died around the same time. To be fair, the G330’s lasted for over 4 years, and may have lasted even longer if I used the travel case.

Airbnb: Where do you stay when you travel?

I first discovered Airbnb about 2 years ago, when I was browsing the App Store. At first, it looked like a very nice app to look at for some crazy places to stay, but then I started learning more about it and signed up. My account says I signed up in October 2012, fully intending to use it but, life got in the way.

I finally have a chance to use it now on my upcoming trip to New York.

Visit Romania through the eyes of a tourist

I’ve discovered a fantastic video made, made by a tourist who visited Romania last year, and I would like to share it with you. Not only is the video well made, but I believe that he managed to do a much better job than the “Visit Romania” campaign, which our Ministry of Tourism put together in the recent years.

QuizUp: Are you in the mood for some trivia?

Let me tell you a little bit about QuizUp, the game that wastes my time, but manages to not make me regret it at the end. If you’ve ever played trivia before, and I think most people have, you know how to play this game.

Cheap flights

Last month I started to get ready for my upcoming trip to New York, which will be in September. As such, the first step was to get the flights sorted.
I am not sure why, but when I’m shopping for plane tickets, I usually go straight to SkyScanner.com, however, this time I thought that I should shop around to get cheap flights from Ireland to New York.

Scott Bradlee & Postmodern Jukebox in Ireland

Yesterday evening, in the Whelans pub in Dublin, I was transported back in time to around the 1930-1940’s by the Scott Bradlee & Postmodern Jukebox. It wasn’t just their music that did this, oh no, it was the way they played, the way they acted, everything.

You see, I already knew what to expect from watching their Youtube Channel, but boy were my expectations exceeded, actually, blown out of the water completely. It has been a long time since my ears were this pleased to relay the sweet sound of music to my brain.
